Comments: Report received via stormcarib.com Report follows of damage around the Kingston area and visual observations. In Kingston, seems we’re in a lull, between a stiff breeze and light rain event around the noon-1 hour. Winds were from the southeast before this lull at about 20-25 mph. Rain squalls right now visible over Papine, Mona area. Radio reports also reporting a squall moving westerly over Kgn harbour. Very dark clouds over S coast of St Catherine, towards Clarendon. From my vantage point bands are visible as the different ceilings circulating right now –lower ceiling main direction coming from the ESE and circling across town towards the west, higher ceilings E to WNW at least visually. (My view is unencumbered SE to E/W at enough elevation for clear views of Long mountain and all the mountains to the E and NE, harbor entrance and Newport, Naggo head, etc. There have been numerous evacuation calls for coastal areas.
