Comments: Storm Surge Report from Stormcarib.com: Observer is near the canal and noticed across the road that the vacant lot was filling with water quickly and that the sea was lapping over the top of the canal edge. The observer went to grab his camera and came back to the area where he stood previously and saw that the dry land where the observer was standing was now submerged with water where normally there is at least 2 feet between the edge and the canal. Observer noted this was happening on a falling tide cycle.
