Comments: Two Reports: Report from David-KE7GOY who is part of a National Animal Rescue Team with contacts in Louisiana and Texas from Denham Springs, Louisiana: Major Squall passed through around 630 PM CDT. Horizontal rain and wind with whiteout conditions. Conditions passed at 630 PM CDT. Squall knocked out power. Tornado sirens heard but no tornado spotted. Some local flooding of low lying areas reported and they are concerned about river flooding. Report from KC5OHG from Lafitte, Louisiana (640 PM CDT): Storm Surge flooding of 3 feet occurring causing people to be rescued. Water is approaching residences and could potentially get worse. Area is just to the southeast of Scarsdale, Louisiana.
